This quote really showed me how exhausted she was. I can't imagine wanting to just lay down in the mud...gross...I'd have to be beyond worn out to want to do that. And then to be asked to run??? There must be something really great ahead - or really bad behind.

The rest of the book is just as descriptive. I have a hard time putting it down at night.
